Very few people do weekly planning effectively. Today’s tip is about helping you get the most out of your week by strategically planning the week and scheduling in realistic blocks of time for your top priorities.
Step one – Identify the top three things you want to achieve next week. (What’s really going to make a difference?)
Step two – Take a ‘week to view’ look at the week ahead and block out any fixed appointments you have (both personal / work related).
Step three – Schedule in realistic blocks of time to focus on the three key activities from step one.
If it’s scheduled, it gets done!
How and when might you implement this and do your weekly planning?
And if you missed it last week and you’d like a laugh to brighten your day… here’s the blooper reel from the clips we filmed. Enjoy!
