  1. Wow! This desert is so delicious, nutritious, and super easy and quick to make! This is one of my go to deserts to make for any dinner party, birthday or Christmas! I like it because it is super healthy and not as rich and sickly as the full caramel banoffee pies! I enjoy making it as it is so easy in the food processor and you can make it ahead of time, and even pop it in the freezer if you want to be super organised! Favourite desert recipe by far! Thank you Lauren! A+++++

  2. Hey Lauren, I have made this a few times now since you first made it for us and each time it has been amazing and others always enjoy it. I have run out of cashews (hubby ate too many snacks) and put in almonds instead. It seemed to work fine. don’t know if that changed anything too much. Thanks again – I love it!

  3. You are so welcome Helene! Its funny you mention freezing it as well, that is exactly what I have done this year for Christmas, dessert is all made and ready to go (2 banoffee pies in the freezer!)
    Enjoy!

  4. Glad you have enjoyed it Sharon! Yes almonds could substitute in well. They don’t become quite as ‘creamy’ but will still work fine! Great to hear you’ve made it several times with success!
